Leading the Way in Agricultural Education and Training
The Sheep and Wool Academy for Southern Africa (SWASA) is an Independent Agricultural Academy for the International Agricultural Academy for Africa (i3A).
Agricultural schools play a pivotal role in the development of the next generation of farmers. SWASA provides SAQA accredited training, customised courses, and e-Learning programmes to meet the needs of agricultural scholars, students, emerging farmers, farmworkers, and the agricultural business sector. They work closely with the agricultural industry to expose students to the latest in technology and products.
By integrating agricultural education into schools, we can expedite the growth of the agricultural economy.
SWASA works closely with the BKB Sheep & Wool Business Sector to expose students to the latest technology and products in agriculture.
We partner with farmers to create profitable and sustainable farming businesses.
We provide a mutually beneficial platform through Agri-pedia for businesses and organisations to support students from national poverty nodes, rural and disadvantaged communities across Africa.
